
Darrell Wallace is a Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist, and is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture. There, he completed three full years of intensive training, which included Traditional Chinese Medicine, extensive coursework in western biomedical pathophysiology, Chinese Herbology, Tui Na bodywork therapy, Eastern nutrition therapy, ear acupuncture, qi gong, and Kiiko-style acupuncture and treatment.
He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Williams College, and completed pre-medical coursework at Harvard University. He began personal study of Western herbology 20 years ago, studying with various prominent teachers from the Western traditions. Darrell currently serves as an instructor at the Harvard University Medical School where he teaches medical acupuncture to physicians in the Continuing Medical Education Course.
Darrell began the study of meditation, qi gong and martial arts 23 years ago, and continues energy practices to this day. As an amateur cyclist and long distance runner, he has an appreciation for the need to balance an active lifestyle with inner harmony – this is the key to balanced living.
He specializes in a gentle style of acupuncture that was developed in Japan that is known for its precision and effectiveness.
